Sharing your usage-data helps Abstract and InstaMAT improve the products and services you are using. InstaMAT will never track project specific data such as the contents of images or meshes.

Our pledge to you is that we will never sell your data to a third-party without your consent. The use of your data is limited to internal analysis to better understand how people use our products and to improve our communication and our products so they're better tailored towards your workflow. We will never track or record data that is part of your project such as the contents of an image or mesh.
¶ Sharing User Data with Abstract and InstaMAT
When sharing user data, you share the following data about yourself with Abstract:
- Age
- Location
- Gender
- Occupation
- How you use or plan to use InstaMAT
This helps us improve the user-experience for your profile in the future.
¶ Sharing Usage Data with Abstract and InstaMAT
When sharing usage data, InstaMAT tracks data such as which features of InstaMAT you use and when. InstaMAT will never record data that could contain personal information such as the contents of resources such as images or directory and filenames.
The following are examples of data we will track:
- What types of projects you are creating
- The IDs and names of nodes and layers you are adding to your project
This data will help us improve the features of InstaMAT that you use the most. We will also be able to provide better docs and tutorials for your workflow.
¶ Mandatory Analytics Data Sharing
Mandatory sharing of analytics data is required for Pioneer license users only. However, it will not be done without ask for your consent first.
